Jinx

Today, as I was waiting to board the bus home from work, the sky was overcast with dark clouds. I began whistling "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head". One of the other boarders glanced at me and said, "We don't want no raindrops! You hold off on that song for a while!"

I grinned and desisted. A few minutes later, the driver turned on the wipers; it was raining very lightly, and was still doing so when I got off for the walk home.
