Well, I've finished my first full game of Skyrim. "Finished" isn't necessarily the right word, since there's no definitive end to the game, but once you've travelled to the afterlife and killed Alduin the World-Eater, what else is there to do? Sure, you can now summon a dragon and the heroes of Sovngarde to your aid, should you need to, but why? My character, Valdemar (after Valdemar IV Atterdag of Denmark; I've never read anything by Lackey), can take down a Draugr Deathlord with a single bow shot or axe blow; his favorite war-axe, in addition to normal axe damage, also delivers 35 points each of fire and shock damage; he's wearing dragonscale armor, improved to Legendary quality and doubly-enchanted; what's he going to fight that's any kind of challenge?

(Well, it might be fun to single-handedly sack the Thalmor embassy....)

At this point, my decision has to be that of Lord Juss at the end of The Worm Ouroborous - reset, and start over. (The next game will be with a character of a different race, with different skill-sets and different alliances. I haven't sampled the Thieves' Guild, the Dark Brotherhood, or the College of Winterhold, nor have I tried supporting the Empire against the Stormcloaks. Heck, Valdemar never even got married....) But it will have to wait. I won't start another game until next month - it's a terrible time sink.
