Album Title: Come On Over

Why I Bought It: I... don't really recall. It might be that I'd heard "You're Still the One".

What I Like (Boogie): "Rock This Country!" We're gonna rock (da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da) this country! The twangy accompaniment in the chorus is... shall I say "invigorating"? Whatever - the song has a great beat.

What I Like (Swirly): "You're Still the One". I'm not sure how to describe what I'm calling "swirly", but the melody of the chorus is it, and it always appeal to me. Honorable Mention: "You've Got a Way".

What I Like (Defiant): "Black Eyes, Blue Tears". A song of farewell to an abusive lover.

Overall: It's a pretty lightweight album, all things considered. I like the title track and "When", as well as the songs named above, and "From This Moment On" is pretty good; but "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" doesn't do much for me, and I can never hear the comma or the final "k" in "If You Wanna Touch Her, Ask!". "Honey, I'm Home" is a funhouse-mirror image of songs like "Five O'Clock World" or "Thank the Lord for the Night Time"; it's amusing, but no more than that. Still, most of the album is reasonably pleasant, and the WILs are more than that.
