Uncrowned

Yesterday, there was a bowl of candy in the faculty lounge. Passing through, I picked out a piece of taffy and popped it into my mouth. After a moment, I discovered that there had been a piece of hard candy embedded in the taffy. Odd, I thought.... After a couple of minutes of chewing, during which the hard candy neither began to dissolve nor cracked, I worked it to the front of my mouth and spat it into my hand.

It was the crown from my second upper-right molar.

I guess a trip to the dentist is in the offing. (Hanged if I know when I'll have time.) Meanwhile, I'll have to stick to chewing on the left.
