Unrainy Days

I didn't sleep well last night again.
The weather didn't seem quite as dismal today, but that may have been because I was in and around my office between 10:30 and 4:30, thus missing the worst of the heat.
At the bus station, halfway to work, I noticed some trash under the bench. When I bent down to pick it up, my pants tore. Fortunately, it was a small tear and not too obtrusive, since there was nothing I could do about it until I returned home.
It took me about three hours of off-and-on work to finish one of the new illustrations for the prisms paper. Part of that was rust: it took me several tries just to work out the right shape for the prism I wanted to display. Fortunately, this was probably the most complex of the illustrations I'll be adding.
I'm glad to be home again. Not the best of days.
