I realized something yesterday. I'll have my mortgage paid off sometime in early 2013. The immediate effect - and this is what I realized - is that of a $9K/year raise, tax-free. (Of course, I'll lose the mortage-interest deduction on my 1040, but I'm paying so little interest at this point that that's largely moot.) Yay.
Bleah. I think I'll make some more chamomile tea.
