Frustration

Just now, he went outside to do his business. He's tamped down a narrow path along the lee side of the house, but it only runs about fifteen feet. When he finished, he spotted something beyond the back fence that deserved barking at; I heard him growl, then begin plowing his way further through the chest-deep snow. He only got about a third of the way before either the threat vanished or he just gave up. He - rather awkwardly - got himself turned around and bounded back to the garage and home. It must have been frustrating.
