Forcing My Hand

I've been grumbling about the slowness of my (dialup) internet connection for quite some time, and making noises about going to DSL or similar. Procrastinator that I am, I have of course actually done nothing about this.

Now it seems that the university is forcing the issue. Due to the difficulty of repairing or replacing the modems in the modem pool, the dialup option will be closed out as of mid-February, next year.

:sigh: Well, every procrastinator needs a kick in the pants every so often.
