"I Write Like..."

This is a meme (pronounced "me-me") that's been popping up here and there, supposedly comparing the writing style of a given text to those of thirty or so well-known authors. I fed it three of my recent LJ posts, "Doors", "Green Patches & Danellians", and "The Path to Power".
"Doors", a pair of anecdotes about Buster, me, and doors, wound up as "like J. K. Rowling".
"Green Patches & Danellians", a critical comment on a couple of SF writers, scored as "like Isaac Asimov". (The Good Doctor, of course, was one of the writers I was talking about.)
"The Path to Power", a brief discussion of Robert Caro's biography of LBJ, was... "like H. P. Lovecraft".
Mm-hm. :backs away slowly:
