For the first time in about three weeks, I think I'm done with programming, at least for a while. I set up coding for a couple of simple families of deltahedra, and for another, rather more complex family, and I think that's enough for now. There are a couple of things I can do which will simplify extracting data, but won't really add to the capabilities of the algorithms.
(Aside: how would you react if, walking down a corridor, you heard someone say, "Mathematica now understands my parametrization of snakes"? The statistics professor who heard me say that to W this afternoon didn't bat an eye....)
There are still a couple of rather more intractable problems that would be nice to settle, but I don't see any good approach to either of them at the moment, so I can back-burner them until inspiration strikes. It's a relief; next week is break week, after all, and there are a number of things I need to do around the house - like doing my taxes, frex.
Hmm. Maybe if I did that, I could bind the snakes together. Yeah, that might work....
Oh, damn.
