It's a dreary and dismal day out there, and the internal weather isn't much better. I've been feeling a little under the weather since sometime yesterday. When I got up today, I had a mild but persistent headache, a little bit of a queasy stomach, and sinuses which were at least contemplating a small-scale rebellion. Still, it didn't seem enough justification for staying home from work, so I went on in.

After getting to work, I spent a few minutes talking to the secretary, at the end of which she told me to go home - or at least get out of her office with whatever germs I was carrying! Ever obedient, I followed instructions immediately. (Well, not immediately. Bloody bus line only runs once an hour, so I didn't leave for another forty-five minutes....)

So here I am. Bed rest and DayQuil for me!
