I still remember the first one that I saw, when my parents finally caved and got cable in my senior year of high school, probably because it was one of the few that had something resembling a storyline: Bryan Adams, "Cuts Like a Knife."
Scenes of the band performing the song at the bottom of an empty swimming pool are inter-cut with a girl coming into a changing room and exchanging her street clothes for a bikini (strategically filmed so you know what she's doing but can't see anything that would upset the censors). She walks out along the edge of the pool, with the band visible over her shoulder, climbs the ladder to the board and (from a camera angle that doesn't show the pool's interior) dives in. Final shot is of her pulling herself up at the edge of the pool, face wet and hair slicked back, with the band once again visible over her shoulder. Over twenty years ago and I still remember it vividly.
