Appeal to the Young'uns

The (sadly, cancelled) vampire/PI drama "Moonlight" frequently featured the song "Lucky", by Bif Naked. I rather like the song, but I know nothing about the group. Can anybody tell me anything about them - their sound, their genre, whatever?

Damn! I really quite enjoy Moonlight. First I heard it had been canned.

Bif Naked is a Canadian punk-rock singer. I've only heard one of her albums, "I Bificus" which is the one with Lucky on it. Pretty much Lucky,Spaceman and Moment of Weakness(also on that album) are the only songs of hers that I really enjoy.

Lucky and Spaceman have both been "remixed" into rather more upbeat versions - I can't remember which version played on Moonlight, but both versions are on the album I believe.

Hmm. That's not very encouraging. (Not too surprising, though; the last time I bought a CD on the basis of a song heard on TV, I wound up with a Cranberries album which I listened to exactly once.)
