stoutfellowI just got word on Ben's biopsy. It's a carcinoma.
Given the position of the tumor, surgery is not a possibility. The choice is between an anti-inflammatory, to try to shrink the tumor, or radiation therapy. I've opted for the former. The vet estimates that this can give him, probably, six to nine months. (That's the midrange; some last longer, some don't respond at all.)
Dammit.
