Suddenly, Next Summer

stoutfellowI was just invited to give a talk on classical Euclidean geometry at the MAA meeting in Madison next year. (This is a little exciting; I've never been invited to talk before!) I've thought of a good topic, so I'm going to accept.
The timing is interesting. The meeting is July 31 - August 2, and Denvention begins on August 6. So, I could fly up to Madison for the meeting (and maybe sneak in a MiniCon?), then fly to San Diego for a few days with the family before going on to the convention. That would be a nice little vacation.
Of course, everything is contingent on Murphy's situation, but I'm going to be optimistic about that.
