Fire Followup

My thanks to everyone who expressed their support during the past emergency in San Diego. My family is safe and well, and the evacuees have returned to their undamaged homes. There are residual problems - air quality will be bad for some time, and cleanup of the ashes and soot is going to be troublesome - but they're manageable.

Yay! Glad to hear your family is safe and well!

I hear you on the ashes and soot -- we had a fire in our building at work once -- and the cleanup of the residue (up a floor from the fire, so mostly soot, I'd guess) was really annoying and had to be done very painstakingly.
