Oops. I knew that. I'm always getting the two mixed up, since I wasn't here for either of them. My big storm was the Hanukkah Eve storm of 2006 [g] -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/December_2006_Pacific_Northwest_storms, although I cannot believe that link didn't mention the fact that this little storm shut down all of Mount Rainier National Park for almost six months. 18" of rain in 36 hours *will* insist on washing away roads and entire campgrounds...
