Winter Is Coming

We're getting our first snowfall of the season; NWS is projecting an inch or two of accumulation overnight. There's already enough to blanket the grass in the back yard. (That's the only place I've looked, and I wouldn't have looked there if Gracie hadn't demanded to be let out.) (Gracie barks, loudly and persistently, when she needs to go outside. Unfortunately, she also barks loudly and persistently on other occasions, and I never know what's up until we get to the porch door.)

I need to get some more long-sleeved shirts, and a new heavy jacket. The jacket I have now is adequate, but the zipper ceased to function years ago, and buttons just aren't quite as good at keeping out the cold. I'll probably hit Kohl's during Thanksgiving break.
