Memorial

I just got back from Seattle, where many of Meg Justus's friends gathered for a memorial and celebration of life. Some of the attendees I had met before; some I knew from online, but had never met in person; and some were strangers to me. But all of us had been touched by Meg's life, and that was enough.

I met her through the Bujold list, and fellow listie Danielle Hart was kind enough to provide transportation to and from the gathering. (Thanks again, Danielle!) I actually spent more time talking to non-listies - a couple of Meg's quilting friends, and Meg's sister and brother-in-law. No matter; the conversation was delightful. I may have more to say later, but I'm tired and hungry just now, so I'll sign off.
