Chalion: Foreshadowing
Jun. 18th, 2018 01:10 pmI'm still rereading "The Curse of Chalion", and I just noticed a subtle bit of foreshadowing, that I hadn't seen before. Caz is explaining his "tumor" to Betriz and Iselle, and thinks to himself:
"In truth, every man he'd ever killed had traveled back up the shock of his sword arm..."
To be honest, of course, the soul that Martou encountered wasn't that of someone *he'd* killed.
