Master!

My Master's student's thesis defense had to be delayed, but she finally presented today and passed easily. The biggest concern had to do with some of her notation, which followed an idiosyncratic bit of symbolism of mine; a few lines explaining it should probably be added, but it doesn't much matter - she's got her degree, and can move on.

Now I have to get cracking on *my* paper.

Dog Years

Measured in the traditional dog years, Buster is older than I am. Heck, he's older than all of the major 2016 presidential candidates.

So why does he have so much *energy*? He's rambuncting around the house tonight, upsetting Gracie and just being pesty.

Actually, I wish I had the energy to play with him the way he wants to be played with. But those days are long gone....
