The Dog That Barked in the Night

Gracie does not trust the doggie door. She finds it especially tricky getting through it in the dark. If I let her out at night, she will come around to the door - just outside it - and bark. I have to come out and turn on the dining room light so she can see what she's doing. (This often happens after I have gone to bed. One day, perhaps, I will remember this and wait for her to do her thing and come around to the doggie door.)

It's Not Cold Out, But...

I'm sitting here with a sore throat and a cup of chamomile tea. I sent my evening class home early, and am now contemplating the likelihood that I'll have to cancel tomorrow's classes.
