Predictions

Contrary to prediction, there was only a fine sifting of snow - less than an inch - last night, and no more is predicted for today. There's enough snow to excite Gracie - she keeps asking to be let out, and romps happily when she is - but not enough to fret about.

A different prediction, though, has proven true: I still have no energy.

I'll go clothes-shopping on Tuesday. Not today.

I just finished "To Say Nothing of the Dog". (I find it interesting that Connie Willis has written a future in which domestic cats went extinct, and another in which it happened to dogs. Such a sweet old lady, to write such terrible things.) I've decided to go on to Pratchett's YAs, starting with "The Amazing Maurice" and moving on to the Tiffany Aching books. (I have "The Shepherd's Crown", but haven't read it, and I think I need refreshing on Ms. Aching's career.)
