Oct. 8th, 2016 08:59 amA. I don't care what Donald Trump said. I care about the acts he claimed to have committed. The correct descriptive phrase is "sexual assault". To treat it as a matter of poorly-chosen words is either folly or an attempt to divert from the real issue.
B. Yes, it was ten years ago, and that's something of a defense if spoken by someone in his 20s; most men grow up a lot in those ten years. Trump was older than I am now when he spoke those words, and there's no evidence that he's "grown up" one iota since then.
C. I will offer some (very rare) kudos to Sen. Mike Lee, Rep. Jason Chaffetz, and Gov. Gary Herbert (R-UT, all), for their clear denunciations of Trump. (Others have denounced his words, but not the man himself; see item A.) You will in all likelihood never see me say that again, about any of the three.
