A New Silent Sound

Someone just pointed out to me a video of a new cover of "The Sounds of Silence", by Disturbed. I've never heard of Disturbed before, and Wikipedia describes them as a heavy-metal band. Metal is not a genre that appeals to me, but... wow. This definitely isn't Simon and Garfunkel, but it works, and works well.
I may have to look into Disturbed. (One commenter suggests that they're much better doing covers than performing their own works. Odd, if true.)
