Years and years ago, in the Discovery Store, I found and pounced on this album. I'm playing it now, and I'm not going to review it here. I just want to point to the last five tracks (out of forty):
The Undisputed Truth, "Smiling Faces Sometimes"
The Temptations, "Ain't Too Proud To Beg"
The Temptations, "Papa Was A Rolling Stone"
Gladys Knight and the Pips, "Neither One Of Us"
Jimmy Ruffin, "What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted"
That, friends, is a finish. Not everything on the album is as good as those five - a lot is, and several are better - but that's a great string to end on.
Just felt like saying that.
I love Motown.
