Well, that was interesting.
Gracie and Buster are both overdue on their yearly checkups and shots, so I just now called Hawthorne to set up their appointments. Taking them both in at the same time is logistically difficult - Gracie will insist on being carried at least part of the way - so I had to schedule different times. After I told the secretary that I wanted separate appointments, she suggested morning and afternoon appointments on the same day. To be frank, that possibility hadn't occurred to me, but with enough spacing it's doable. So, I'll be taking Gracie in for a 9:30 appointment, and Buster is scheduled for 2:30.
It's not a short walk - a mile or two each way - so I guess I'll be getting plenty of exercise tomorrow!
[Oog. I just checked Wunderground; the forecast is for thunderstorms, with a 70% chance of precipitation. Well, we'll see what happens.]
