The spam filter at work recently added another feature. There are some spam messages that are dangerous even to open, never mind clicking on links or opening attachments, and the filter now catches those and sends a warning that such a message (labeled "SUSPICIOUS" as well as "SPAM") has been caught in the filter. I frequently check the filter, looking for false positives - ADS messages in particular frequently get caught - and, when I receive a SUSPICIOUS warning, I wait a while for the message to move down the queue. (When I open the spam filter, it automatically opens the most recent trapped message.)
All well and good. But in the last three days, two SUSPICIOUS messages have been caught in the filter. So were the consequent warning messages.
Kind of defeats the purpose, wouldn't you say?
