Album Title: The Best of Three Dog Night

Why I Bought It: I already had their Joy to the World album, but it didn't have "Eli's Coming".

What I Like (Joyful): "Joy to the World". Jeremiah was a bullfrog.... Honorable Mention: "Shambala".

What I Like (Creepy): "Eli's Coming". I also have Laura Nyro's version; it's different in male and female voices. I file the tale of the mysterious and seductive Eli alongside Abba's "The Piper", Manfred Mann's "The Mighty Quinn" (although he seems more beneficient), and perhaps the Beatles' "Come Together".

What I Like (Cautionary): "Mama Told Me Not To Come". Yeah, it's kind of Afterschool Special-ish, but I like it.

Overall: This is a good album. "Liar", "Easy to Be Hard", "Celebrate", "The Show Must Go On" - a nice range of topics, mostly toe-tapping fun.

From USA Today on Friday:
"The influence today of the Muslim Brotherhood at the highest levels, from the White House, to the Pentagon, to the FB, even to our United States military, truly is breathless and people have to know about it," Bachmann said.
Tail-Gunner Joe for the Wal-Mart era.
