Since I have two dogs, I have two dog food bowls. They sit side by side at one end of the kitchen. I fill them both daily.
The point of having two bowls is to allow both dogs to eat at the same time. Buster and Gracie do, indeed, eat at the same time. From the left-hand bowl. Gracie usually growls at Buster while this is happening, and sometimes he shies back. He does not, however, turn his attention to the right-hand bowl.
As far as I can tell, neither dog will eat from the right-hand bowl before the left-hand bowl is empty. The two bowls are different sizes, and it looks as though slightly different metals went into their composition....
I think I'll try swapping the positions of the two bowls, to see what happens.
