Unsettled Day

I've run out of quite a few staples in my pantry, and really should make a grocery run. But it's been raining intermittently, at times heavily, and I don't trust it enough to be willing to leave the house for that long. I think today's going to be a pizza day. (It's not raining at the moment, and I'm going to try to take the dogs for a walk in a bit. Hopefully we won't get caught in a cloudburst.)
There are a number of household things I should be doing, but the prospect of jury duty tomorrow is keeping me too on edge to concentrate on them. About the only things I've achieved this weekend are a load of laundry and a victory (as Alexander) in Civ IV. Oh, wait - I also verified that a geometric construction I've devised does have a property I hoped it would. (This is in connection with my former student's Master's paper, which I'm now ready to write up for journal submission. That's going to have to wait until I put the finishing touches on the prisms paper, though.)
