GIGO

This is a problem that wouldn't have occurred to me: automatic translation, as currently conceived, relies on statistical analysis of large quantities of pre-existing translation - but bad automatic translation throws bad data into the mix, and makes further automatic translation worse.

Can't win for losing, some days.
