Day Two

I'm not sure whether it's still sleeting, but from my windows it looks like every street and sidewalk is a solid sheet of ice. This morning, going out to fetch the paper and the mail, I had to baby-step down the driveway to avoid taking a spill. I could have walked on the grass to get to the mail, but the paper was out in the middle of the driveway. (The delivery man has been very good about getting the paper as close to my door as possible, but there are limits on what he can do.)

Gracie is refusing to go outside to do her business. Can't say that I blame her.

No school today either - and tonight's the prophesied big snowstorm.
