I'm staying home from work today.
No, it has nothing to do with the disappointing results of yesterday's baseball; it has to do with the fact that Saturday evening I was sledgehammered by a very bad cold. Headache, runny nose, the works; I was shivering violently when I went to bed, and had to get up again to break out my long johns. (They helped, eventually.) Yesterday saw no particular improvement, and this morning is no better. Here's hoping this is as far as it goes!
