I'm reading James Joyce's Dubliners currently, and just finished "Clay". At the end of the story, the viewpoint character sings a song, "I Dreamt that I Dwelt"; Joyce includes the first stanza...
and it turns out to be the song that Enya released as "Marble Halls".
It shouldn't surprise me; a number of Enya's songs are older pieces. Still, I wasn't expecting it.
