Shopping

My sister C, her husband D, and I went shopping today at Best Buy, and then to Red Robin for a tasty and ver-r-y filling meal. I haven't been to RR before, but it's near enough that I might drop in there again on my own.

I came home with a new flatscreen TV, a new DVD/VHS player/recorder, and a turntable/MP3 converter. I haven't hooked up the converter yet. The TV and the player/recorder seem to be functioning properly, though it took me a while to figure out how to make the TV pay attention to the player. I'm going to be a bit too busy for a few days to fully appreciate it, but it looks good.

I am pleased. Also grateful to C and D.

I Hate When That Happens

I'm currently listening to a Moody Blues compilation. I was about to post something like the following:

The Moody Blues have produced a lot of excellent work, and if you ask me tomorrow, I'll probably say something else, but right now my favorite is "I Know You're Out There Somewhere".

Then "Forever Autumn" came on.
