Buster's Turn
Jul. 17th, 2009 07:00 pmBuster was starting to look like a sheepdog again, so I took him to the groomer today. On the recommendation of a neighbor, we went to a different - and much closer! - groomer. (It turns out that they're a good deal cheaper, too.) Here are some pics.
Another advantage of the new place? Border's is more or less on the way, so after dropping him off I went book-shopping. I bought: Snow Empress, Laura Joh Rowland; A Spell for the Revolution, C. C. Finlay; Proven Guilty, Jim Butcher; To the Nines, Janet Evanovich; Bath Tangle, Georgette Heyer; Brave New World, Aldous Huxley; The Good Earth, Pearl Buck; David Falkayn, Star Trader, Poul Anderson; and Team of Rivals, Doris Kearns Goodwin. Nothing heavy except the Goodwin and maybe the Huxley. (I already have several of the stories in the Anderson, but having them all in one place will be nice.)
