Cram Again

Having moved on from The Hobbit to The Fellowship of the Ring, I have stumbled onto more information about cram. As the Fellowship prepares to leave Lothlórien, the elves give them a supply of lembas; Gimli, until he tastes it, believes it to be cram. Here is the description:

The food was mostly in the form of very thin cakes, made of a meal that was baked a light brown on the outside, and inside was the color of cream.

I'm telling you: cram is graham crackers!
