I will admit that my dataset is rather limited; I don't watch football games that often. But that was one of the three most exciting games I've ever seen, up there with the San Diego-Miami playoff game in 1981 and the San Diego-Pittsburgh playoff game in 1995. (A bit of observer bias there, no doubt.)
To come back in the second half and defeat the defending Super Bowl champion with your starting quarterback and All-Pro running back both out of action... is very impressive. I don't know what will happen in New England next week, but the Chargers will have nothing to be ashamed of, after this.
Of course, that doesn't mean I don't want to see them go all the way.
