Not Dead Yet

This year's Nasfic has ended.

I ate far too much, spent an obscene amount of money, slept scarcely at all, and had a blast.

Further details will have to wait until I've recovered from the experience.

Resolutions...

One of my resolutions this year was to read more books than I bought. Until last week, I was staying ahead by a narrow margin.

I blew that one all to hell this week, buying no less than twenty-nine books. The full damages are under the cut.

Nasfic, Day One

Rather than attempt a single monster post covering the entire convention, I'm going to break it down. Under the cut: the first day. (I spent today with filkferengi's husband and mbernardi at Cahokia Mounds. This involved hiking around and up and down, all in 90F+ weather. There is no way I can write up the whole con in one go tonight.)
