One of the unexpected drawbacks of getting older: reading things that are supposed to be funny, and might be, except that you've seen the joke before.
In the last week:
The newspaper cartoon "Curtis" ran a strip involving Curtis' brother bending a cracker. Charles Schulz did that one about forty years ago (and it was much funnier then).
I'm reading the archives of "Evil Inc." (quite a good webcomic, by the way - thanks,
sraun), and just ran across a strip which was more or less a reprise of Gahan Wilson's infamous "Refreshing Drink / Refreshing Drink Antidote" cartoon.
Sigh. Is this what being jaded feels like? Because I don't like it.
