Well, the finals are given and graded, and I'll be handing in the grades tomorrow morning. My Senior Project student (not the Peacock paper, the other one) is giving his presentation at 3:00 tomorrow; then my obligations for the semester will be taken care of.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get much done with the paper. I'll have a few hours tomorrow morning and afternoon to work on it, so there's still a chance I'll get it out the door before leaving, but I'm not sending it out until I'm satisfied - and the odds of that are on the slim side.
I'm looking forward to the presentation tomorrow. He came up with the problem on his own, and the techniques he used are entirely of his own devising. I haven't done much more than warn him against some likely blind alleys. He's pretty well mastered mathematical rhetoric, too, which is almost as hard as learning mathematical thinking. (The two do reinforce each other, though.)
Ah, well. Almost done. I haven't even started packing...
Edit: HA! Adrian Beltre has bolted to Seattle from the Evil Blue Empire. That almost makes up for the defection of David Wells from San Diego (and if he's not going to be a Padre, Boston's the next best place for him).
