Now a confirmed Firefly fan, I couldn't agree more with Lilek in his assessment of the writing tailored for the specific characters. It's not something you see often in ensemble casts, but Alec and I both agreed that the humor was written particular to each character and acted by each totally distinct from the others. One of my favorite scenes was Wash *playing* with his dinosaurs at the helm. "Your sudden but inevitable betrayal..." is now a catchword chez Hopper.

Dang but I wish there were more episodes. We just finished disc 4.
