No, it doesn't make sense, but Amazon will do things like that from time to time. Depending on my level of irritation, I will either wait patiently or send them an email asking why the heck they said they'd ship my items with X days when clearly that isn't the case. They have always not only shipped the items immediately but given me a 2nd Day Air upgrade.
