Apparently yesterday's "Revolutionary War airports" episode is now being blamed on the teleprompter.

I recall people denigrating President Obama's oratorical skills by saying that all he was doing was reading off the teleprompter.

I sense a certain dissonance here...

Even if the teleprompter was to blame, in a less shambling administration, the speechwriter would not have produced such a thing, or someone less ignorant of history than Trump would have vetted the speech, and spotted such an absurdity.

If Trump was an actual stable genius, he'd have caught the mistake as he was saying it. Or maybe he was telling the truth for once, and it came out from him, showing that he's completely ignorant of basic history...
