Twenty Years Ago

I just ran across someone's LJ comment on something that had happened twenty years ago - such a long time.

Then I realized that twenty years ago was the mid-90s. I was in my late thirties already.

Yeah. Every member of every NFL team is young enough to be my kid, with the possible exception of Peyton Manning and a few other oldies. That's just Wrong.

ETA: I take that back. Adam Vinatieri (New England) is the oldest player in the NFL. He's 40. I'm 55. So technically I could even be his mother. But most of 'em? I'd have been around 30, give or take a couple of years.

Sigh.
