It has been a long day.

On the way home from the bus stop, I could smell Isaac coming; we're supposed to get four days of rain. I'd stay home tomorrow if I could, but there's a department meeting, and I have to hand a stack of quizzes to my grader. Also, I need to pick up some groceries. I suspect I will get wet.

I find it hard to care. It has been a long day.

Well, at least you won't be wading up to your hips and beyond like those poor souls on the Gulf Coast. And, judging from the rest of your summer, it's about time you got some rain. At least it'll be relatively warm...

All at once?

(It isn't raining at the moment, though a Tornado Watch is in place. Someone spotted a funnel cloud a little south of here a few hours ago, but it never touched down. Wunderground is forecasting 100% chance of rain tonight and tomorrow, declining to 90% tomorrow night, 70% Sunday, and 40% Monday. Lots of wetness, in any case.)
