Of Hornets and Bats

I have an extremely vague (and decades-old) memory to the effect that the Green Hornet and Kato once appeared in an episode of "Batman", back in the '60s. The Wikipedia article on GH makes no mention of this.

Am I crazy?

Strike that. Is this (pseudo-?)memory evidence that I am crazy?

No, you're not. It was a crossover episode, with part one on The Green Hornet and part two on Batman. They didn't make a very good fit (Green Hornet was played a bit more straight than Batman) but it was interesting to watch.

That sounds about right. Thanks!

I remember those episodes too. Though I didn't watch Green Hornet as a rule, so I wouldn't know about it being a good/bad fit.

Imdb.com confirms 3 episodes of the Green Hornet on Batman.

And did you know it was the immortal Bruce Lee who played Kato?

I remembered that it was someone who became a major martial-arts star, but not that it was Lee in particular. Not, that is, until I read the Wikipedia article, which also included another couple of interesting items: that, in Hong Kong, "The Green Hornet" was retitled "The Kato Show", and that the creator of the Green Hornet also created the Lone Ranger, and made them relatives. (The Hornet was the Masked Man's great-nephew.)
