The Space Child's Mother Goose

arrived today. Herewith, a poem, and one of the reasons I remembered the book with such love:
Flappity, Floppity, Flip!
The Mouse on the Möbius Strip.
The Strip revolved,
The Mouse dissolved,
In a chronodimensional skip.

You have *so* got to get _Tomorrow's Children_, edited by Asimov. It's been out of print forever, so you'll have to ILL it, but there's a story by Mark Clifton in there that addresses that theme exactly. The rest of the anthology rocks commensurately. It was my intro to lots & lots of awesome authors.

I'm pretty sure I've read it. It includes "Junior Achievement" (by... somebody) and "The Ugly Little Boy" (by the Good Doctor himself), right?

Exactly! And Zenna Henderson, & Schmitz, & Leiber ["A Pail Of Air", which inspired a song by that name by a filker I know], and, and, and.

:)
