Grumbles

I received a package from Amazon today; it was the third and last part of the CD order I placed a couple of weeks ago. It was supposed to contain an audio CD by Gene Pitney, titled "I'm Gonna Be Strong". Unfortunately, there is also a box set of Pitney's songs with the same title, and that is what was in the package. (The invoice lists the correct item, but that's not what came.) I tried going through Amazon's return-or-refund page. However, they appeared to ask me to return the entire order. (That may not have been the intent, but I could see no other way of reading it.) This I refuse to do. So I've e-mailed them, asking for instructions.

Buggerit. I was looking forward to listening to that CD this weekend.

Been there, done that. You can return single items, but I don't remember the process. In my case, it was an item with an incorrect UPC printed on the item (unfortunately, the same UPC as the next map to the north, which I already had). Made two identical returns before returning for credit and buying locally, where the clerk got confused for the same reason, but was willing to sell the map to me anyway, despite the computer having issues.
